I appreciate Dr. Berg and have respect for him; however, he paints carbohydrates with a broad brush. There is a huge difference between complex and refined carbs. We should all avoid refined carbs. We need complex carbs to be healthy.

In a nutshell:
Simplify as much as possible.
Live congruently with your values.
Develop self-efficacy.
Aerobic exercise (do not overdo)
Deep slow breathing with associated stretches (don't do on your own until you've been taught by someone who knows what they are doing).
