This is a variation of the Weight Loss Miracle Shake. (Link to information on the right.)
Mix in a blender:
1 cup hot water
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
½ cup Morning Moo or powdered milk
½ cup (or just a little more) old fashioned rolled oats or wheat
1/4 cup shredded (no sugar added) coconut flakes
1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh is best and you can make it a tightly packed cup)
2 large carrots or 10-12 baby carrots
1 large banana
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
add a little stevia for better taste
Blend well in order to mix the oats or wheat (so they don’t stay at the bottom)
Now, you have two choices.
You can slowly add enough ice to make 6 to 8 cups. Add a few pieces of ice then blend, then add a few more (unless you have an industrial strength blender in which case you can add all the ice at once)
or
You can divide the mixture in half. Put half in the refrigerator for lunch or another meal then add enough ice to make 3 to 4 cups.
Add ice to the remaining half of the mixture when you are ready to drink it.
This shake is meant to be both physically and psychologically filling as well as nutritious.
Personally I also find it extremely delicious!
