Pumpkin Smoothie

Add in blender
2 cups water
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup dried cranberries, (low or no sugar)
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
3 cups (packed) spinach
1 scoop protein powder
Stevia to taste
Add ice, a few pieces at a time, and blend. Add as much ice as you wish for the consistency you want. I usually add a total of about two cups of ice.
To save money, grow your own garden, plant vegetables in a planter on your step or in your window. Substitute ingredients with what you can grow or purchase locally or free from friends/neighbors. Eat: Whole Grains, Vegetables, Fruit, Legumes, Complex Carbs, healthy Herbs and Spices. Avoid: Simple Carbs, Sugar, Corn Syrup. Eat in moderation: starches and meat. Drink: Water.
